Rabbi Yeshaya Azulai was the son of the famous kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Azulai.

One of the teachers of R' Yeshaya was Rabbi Chizkiyah Di-Silvah author of the book 'Pri Chadash'.

Rabbi Yeshaya Azulai was the grandfather of Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai - The Chidah.
