A Tzaddik for Eternity is dedicated to the saintly figure of Reb Aryeh Levin whose memory Simcha Raz evokes in hundreds of wondrous, little-known stories that were told to him after the appearance of his previous book, A Tzaddik in Our Time (Ish Tzaddik hayah, as originally entitled in Hebrew). This book is therefore a sequel relating many of those stories and including dozens of rare letters, documents and photographs that shed new light on the man who became a legend in his own lifetime. In his last message, written from the sickbed where he went to his eternal res, Reb Aryeh asked "That you tell a later generation: here was a simple man with no official position who loved your forefathers, shared the grief of your families, and whose love endured in his heart like a blazing fire".
