Written by the Founder and former President of Sephardic Heritage Foundation, Sam Catton A”H, these books is of the Men of Faith and Vision series and it tells the stories of the pioneers who laid the foundations for the Syrian-Sephardic Jewish Community. It recounts the stories of how these courageous and visionary men and women took the leap of faith emigrating from Syria to the unknown shores of the United States in the early 20th century and went on to establish the successful and well-known Community of today. These books also recount the history and origins of the Syrian-Sephardic Jewish Community of New York during the years 1900-1950. This history is relayed via biographies of the various Rabbinic and Lay Leaders of the Community of the period.
